he end of the year brings celebrations and parties, and this year is no different. There are plenty of opportunities to mark the passing of another year right here in Flint & Genesee, and wherever you go to celebrate the end of 2024, you are sure to have fun.  

IronSnake Masquerade Ball 

Flint’s concert venue, The Machine Shop, will play host to local hard-rock favorites IronSnake as they rock in the new year with one of the biggest parties in the area.  

New Year’s Eve at Our Lady of Lebanon 

The fun starts at 7 p.m. and will feature live performances by Ivan Khair and Abe Diab with DJing by Abe Matta. Tickets will include appetizers and dinner, though you must provide your own spirits for the midnight toast.  

Scooter’s NYE Party with Code Blue 

Scooter’s Bar & Grill will host the band Code Blue as they play through the evening and into the new year.Scooter’s will also be offering their great food and plenty of drinks on tap.  

Flint Eagles New Year’s Party with Magic5 

At Flint Eagles 629, there will be plenty to keep everyone busy for the evening. Get a professional photo done, have dinner, enjoy the music, and dance as Magic5 plays. You can even end the night by celebrating the new year with champagne and snacks.  

Roaring 20s New Year’s Eve 

If you are interested in a more formal event, then head to Flint’s Whaley Historic House for a Roaring 20’s Masquerade. This adult-only event will feature a cash bar, hors-d'oeuvres, and dancing in their music room. Be mindful that this is a black-tie affair with masquerade masks encouraged.  

Plethora’s New Year’s Eve Party 

Local band PLeThorA is inviting fans to it’s “bunker” in Flint for an evening of music and fun. Guests are invited to bring their own beverages as they enjoy snacks and rock out for this fun, free show.  

New Years Celebration Prayer 

The Lighthouse Spirit of God Church in Flint is welcoming people for a night of worship, prayer, and celebration. Guests are invited to bring a dish to pass at this gathering of faith to bring in 2025.  

Noon Year’s Eve 

Finally, the Flint Children’s Museum will host Noon Year’s Eve on Dec. 31 and families are invited out to celebrate the New Year a little early. Created especially for the members of the family who can’t stay up until midnight, this event will feature firework art, soda geysers, crafts, and a balloon drop to symbolize the changing of the year.  

As the last days and hours of 2024 wind down, there will be many opportunities to gather and celebrate. Have fun and be safe here in Flint& Genesee.
