In downtown Flint, Jack’s Record Stache packs a lot in its space and sells used records, CDs, and cassette tapes. This is another hot spot for Record Store Day releases and somewhere where your passion for record collecting will easily be equaled.

In Flint, Musical Memories is one of the city’s oldest record stores. Selling records, cassettes, CDs, and used movies and concerts, they offer a little of everything. This store is a great place to hunt through records and CDs to find that item that you didn’t realize you couldn’t live without.

Bookstores

Totem Books offers a variety of new and used books, vinyl records, used CDs and tapes. The bookstore also hosts events including live music, open mic nights, Drag Queen Bingo and comedy shows. Its café sells coffee, teas, soups, and literature-themed sandwiches to go with a night of entertainment.

Comma Bookstore & Social Hub in downtown Flint is more than just a bookstore, as they regularly host community events such as author signings and readings.

R & B Used Book in Grand Blanc features 12 rooms of books catering to readers of all ages and types. Genres include but are not limited to, mystery, history, children’s, sci-fi/fantasy, and romance. The store also has a trade account program, which allows patrons to bring in their used books for credit and an additional discount on merchandise.

Fenton’s Open Book is a full-service independent bookstore located in downtown Fenton. The bookstore specializes in local authors and local products, including specialty food items and gifts. Actively involved in the community, the bookstore also participates in downtown events such as Ladies Night Out and hosts local book clubs at their storefront.

Snacks

Mr. Chip Cookie Co. offers decorated cookies for your events to chocolate chunk, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, and more that will have you hard pressed to only buy just a few.

CinnaMom can be found in the Flint Farmer’s Market and its own storefront. Whether you choose one roll or a six- or twelve-pack, you’ll find yourself in love with its sticky headliner.

At Bongo’s Gourmet Popcorn at the Flint Farmers’ Market, you can indulge in your love of popcorn. You will find a wide range of seasonings to locally owned and grown popping corn, you will find everything you need to enhance your popcorn’s flavor. 

Specialty Shops

Grand Blanc’s Oliver T’s Market has become synonymous with special occasions. From international soda pop to everything you could need to mix your favorite cocktail and even sweet treats, this is where the party starts. If you are looking for a gift or gift basket, they have that too.

The Local Grocer in Flint offers fresh, locally and regionally sourced veggies, specialty groceries, and meal prep orders. They also offer vegan or gluten-free options.

In Flint, you will find Seoul Market, which offers Asian snacks and novelty foods as well as a full line of groceries. They offer large rice bags, grocery items, various cooler products, meats, sauces, beauty products, and more.

 Shops on Saginaw is located at the Dryden Building and offer a variety of items from small businesses throughout Genesee County at different pop-up shops.
